About Breda C Wright
I feel privileged to call myself a photographer. My journey so far has enabled me to meet wonderful people, many of whom have inspired me to use my photography as a means to highlight the significance of relationships and the connections and responsibilities we all share. I see myself at the beginning of a fascinating exploration of myself and where i live. For now, I am learning and improving my skills, concentrating mainly on portraiture and getting through my final year at Hull school of Art and Design.
Born in Birkenhead, Merseyside in 1968. Breda left home at 17 for the bright lights of London. Here, she discovered love and photography! Seeing a Man Ray retrospective at the Serpentine gallery inspired Breda to take photographs and develop her interest in the arts. Breda moved to Hull in 1997 and settled down to bring up her two children. In 2004 Breda returned to education to complete a Foundation Degree in Lens Based Media and is currently studying for her third year at Hull School of Art and Design.
